Engr. Adisa, Ademola Bello is a registered Mechanical Engineer (with COREN) since 1999 and a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering. He attended St. Mathew’s Anglican primary school, Kurra Falls and the Boys’ Secondary School, Gindiri, all in Plateau State. He obtained in 1989, the Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi. He obtained the Master of Engineering in Solid Mechanics and Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. He took up appointment with the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi as a Graduate Assistant in 1991 and rose through the ranks to the present rank of Professor in 2010. He teaches subjects in the area of mechanics and energy studies.
He has served and still serving the academic community as an external examiner/assessor in many universities and many professional/academic Journals. He served the ATBU as Director of Centre for Energy Research, Coordinator of Postgraduate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Head of Mechanical/Production Engineering Department and Director, Centre for Industrial Studies. He has supervised to completion over seventy B. Eng theses, eight PGD theses, nineteen M. Eng theses and eight PhD dissertations. He has over seventy-five peer reviewed Journal and conference papers, eight Technical Reports and 15 Public Lectures delivered. He has been sponsoring two prizes in the Department of Mechanical Engineering since the 2012/2013 session at every convocation ceremony. He served on the Governing Council of ATBU, the Council of the NSE and the Council of COREN. While on the Council of COREN, he served as the Chairman of “Education and Training” and also Technical committee Chairman of the MOC in the 25th, 26th and 27th COREN Assemblies. He served as the 11th National Chairman of the NIMechE and has been serving on its Council since 2009. Currently, he representing COREN on the Africa, Asia and the Pacific (AAP) Accord Engineering Council.
He is a Fellow of The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), The Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE), The Automotive and Locomotive Engineers Institute (AutoEI), The Solar Energy Society of Nigeria (SESN) and The Institute of Management Consultants (IMC). He is also a member of Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) (Chartered), The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). He is listed in the International Who’s Who Historical Society (2011 – 2012) as a Professional Educator and the International Registry Who’s Who of Executives and Professionals (2012 – 2013) as a Professor. He is a recipient of some awards: a notable one is the overall second prize at the first National Competition on Design of Process Equipment and Plants organized by the RMRDC, Abuja, Nigeria.
He has been involved in many engineering trainings and community services; including being the lead Judge at the Royal Academy of Engineering – Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers FAFME Design & Creativity Competition (2020). He has worked with Bauchi State Government on the Yankari Resort and Safari Redevelopment. Nationally, he worked with Centre for Space Technology Development (CSTD), on the SPIRE PROJECT and Energy Commission of Nigeria (under the Renewable Energy Master Plan, National Energy Master Plan and the National Energy Policy). He is currently serving on the Energy Thematic group of The Research and Development Standing Committee of TETFund and Technical Board of Hydraulic Equipment Development Institute (HEDI) Kano, under The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI)
He enjoys traveling, reading, playing football and badminton. He is happily married and blessed with children.
Mrs. Ayoola Taiwo Obafunmi was born on the 15th of November, 1969. She hails from Ogun State, Nigeria. She started her primary education at Mount Carmel Convent School, E/B, Lagos (First School Leaving Certificate, 1981) and secondary school at Wesley Girls Secondary School, Yaba, Lagos- West African School Certificate (WASC) 1986. She then went further for a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) at Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta for an Advanced Level Certificate (GCE-A Level) 1989
She obtained her B. A. (Hons.) English (Second Class Upper Division) from Ogun State University, now Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye in 1994 and later proceeded to the University of Lagos where she bagged her M. A. (Hons) Degree in Literature in 1998.
Mrs. Obafunmi was employed into the services of COREN as an Assistant Registrar in 1998. She pioneered COREN Zonal Office in Warri in 2001 and was later transferred to COREN Head office Abuja in 2004 to Head the Registration Department, a position she held for over 8 years. She is currently the Head of Management Services Department as Assistant Director.
A member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (AMNIM), she has attended courses locally and internationally.
Mrs. Obafunmi is married to a Pastor and they are blessed with children.
Barr. Ify Eke was born in Anambra, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
She completed her Secondary School at Ogidi Girls’ Secondary School Ogidi in Anambra state. She further attended the University of Nigeria, Nsuka Enugu Campus where she obtained her LLB. She also bagged her B.L from the Nigerian Law School Abuja.
She joined the Services of COREN 16years ago and has risen to the current post of an Assistant Director Legal Services.
Barr. Ify has attended many courses locally and internationally.
Engr. Aku Joseph Agabi was born on 13th February 1971 in Kaduna, Kaduna State. He attended Government College Kaduna between 1982 and 1988. He obtained a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He also holds Post Graduate Diplomas in Engineering, Management and Administration from the University of Agriculture Makurdi, Benue State University and Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) Badagry, Lagos respectively.
Engr. Agabi has worked in different capacities at COREN Zonal offices and Headquarters. He is currently the Head of COREN Engineering Professional Development Centre, Gwarinpa.
He is a Corporate Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and has served and is still serving in various committees at the National level. He is also a member of the NSE Abuja branch where he severally served as an executive committee member.
He is married with children.
Engr. Oladipupo Isiaka Mabogaje, MNSE, AFCIA was born in Ebute-Metta, Lagos on the 31st March 1976. He obtained B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State in 1999. He also holds M. Sc. in Industrial & Production Engineering from University of Ibadan in 2004 and Diploma certificate in Industrial safety, Planning & Control from Federal College of Education, Akoka – Lagos in 2005.
Engr. O. I. Mobogaje worked in different capacities across Engineering filed such as, Boston Nig. Ltd., IHS Nig. Ltd. in Lagos, Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) Headquarters, Abuja and joined Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN, in 2010, as Maintenance Officer and Later as Zonal Officer South-South, 2013 and he is currently the Head of Procurement Unit of COREN.
Engr. Mabogaje has attended several courses in Nigeria and a member of several professional bodies.
He is happily married to Mrs. Gift Chinyere Aishat (Nee Uche) Mabogaje.
Mr. Abudu Sunday Omotayo was born on 28th March 1968 in Somolu, Lagos State. He is a native of Ago-Iwoye, in Ijebu North LGA of Ogun State.
He attended Sanni-Luba Primary and Secondary School in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State between 1974 - 1984. He studied Accountancy at Lagos State Polytechnic, Isolo, Lagos State (National Diploma) between 1985 -1987 and Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos (1990 - 1993) where he obtained (Higher National Diploma (Lower Credit) in Accountancy & Finance. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN).
Mr. Abudu has worked in different establishments as a Cost Accounting Clerk, Clerical Officer, Account Officer, and Cost Accountant. He has also served as an Audit Trainee in Titi-Olaniyan & Co. (a firm of Chartered Accountant) between 1988 - 2002. He joined the Council for the Regulation of Engineering Nigeria, COREN in 2003 as Principal Registry Assistant (Audit) and rose to the post of Assistant Chief Auditor in 2012. Presently, he is the Head of Audit.
He is married with children.
Peter Awunde was born on 20th October 1976 at Naka, Gwer-West L.G.A of Benue State. He completed his secondary school at Govt. Secondary School Maina, Lafia Nassarawa State. He further attended the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi where he obtained a B.ENG (Electrical/Electronics). He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education.
He taught in many international Schools and worked with many IT firms in Abuja before joining COREN where he is currently the Head of Project and facility Management Unit.

Ojonugwa Haruna was born on 1st October, 1978 in Makurdi, Benue State. She attended her primary education at St. Catherine Primary School Makurdi, 1988. She then went to United Faith Tabernacle College in Jos, Plateau State in 1991 and completed at Ochaja Girls Secondary School in 1998.
She obtained her B. A. (Hon) Mass Communication from Kogi State University Anyagba in 2003.

Engr. Suleiman Adamu Kakudi was born on 27th September, 1982 at Kakudi, Sule Tankarkar L.G.A of Jigawa State. He attended Sani Mainagge Special Primary School. He completed his secondary school at Bayero University Staff Secondary School. He further attained his B.ENG (Electrical/Electronics) at Bayero University Kano.
He started working with Horizon broadcasting and telecommunication LTD as an Executive Officer Power Management and Technical Support EO (PM&TS) before joining COREN where he is currently the head of Management Information System.
