INVESTIGATION INTO THE COLLAPSED 6-STOREY BUILDING BELONGING TO THE SYNAGOGUE CHURCH OF ALL NATIONS, IKOTUN, LAGOS
INVITATION OF ENGINEERING PERSONNEL
With reference to the collapsed 6-storey residential building belonging to the Synagogue Church of All Nations at Ikotun, Lagos State, the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN, has commenced investigation into the immediate and remote causes of the collapse. The investigation has started with the collection of samples from the rubble which are presently being analysed in the laboratory.
Council is yet to lay hands on the design drawings, soil reports and other documents on the project.
In the meantime, the Council directs all Engineering Personnel (Engineers, Technologists, Technicians and Craftsmen) involved in the project to report to the COREN Liaison Office situated at No. 29 Onikoyi Road, Off Alexandra Avenue, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The Personnel are to report on Monday, 29th September, 2014 with all documents relating to the project.
