Engr. Kashim A. Ali, FNSE, mni, President of COREN
Engr. Kashim Abdul Ali was born on 10th June, 1958 in Ofugo – Ankpa, Kogi State. He is a Registered Engineer, Fellow and Past President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, and Member of the National Institute. He was a member of Nigeria Vision 20:2020 Steering and Implementation Committees, and Chair of the sub-Committee on Physical Infrastructure. He was also co-Chair of the Infrastructure Policy Commission of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, and member Policy Support Group to the Economic Management Team (2008 – 2010). His working career started in the old Benue State Ministry of Works in 1982, before he joined the Federal Capital Development Authority in 1992, rising to the position of Director/Chief Executive Officer of the FCT Water Board, Special Adviser (Utilities), Director (Technical Services) of the Abuja Infrastructure Investment Centre, and lately, Director, Transportation, FCTA. He holds the traditional titles of Olimene Ata Igala, and Galadiman Ankpa. He is married with four children, and loves reading, writing, travelling and social works.

Engr. Gbesimi Daultry Akperi, FNSE, Vice President
Engr. Gbesimi Daultry Akperi holds a B.Eng (Mechanical) and M.Eng from university of Benin. He has rich experience in Oil industry covering Exploration from Schlumberger overseas as Geological Engineer, production and Maintenance in SPAC Training and Education in Petroleum Training Institute Effurun. He was appointed Special adviser to Delter State Governor on Petroleum Matters, Commissioner for Infrastructural and Waterways in Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission. He is Married with Two Children.

Engr. (Dr.) Emeka M. Ezeh, FNSE
Engr. Emeka M. Ezeh, FNSE, Past President of the Nigeria Society of Engineers and Member, American Society of Civil Engineers was born on the 16th February,1958 in Alor, Idemili South L.G.A of Anambra State. He obtained a B.Eng degree in Civil Engineering from University of Nigeria and Master of Science degree in Structures at the University of Lagos. Engr. Ezeh has so many awards both Local and International. He is presently the Director General, Bureau of Public Procurement in the Presidency.
He is married with three Children.

Engr. Olumuyiwa Alade Ajibola, FNSE
Engr. Olumuyiwa Alade Ajibola FNSE, an Engineer and Entrepreneur, is the current President and Head of Council of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. He hails from Ile-Ife in Osun State. A Distinguished Civil Engineer, obtaining B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of London (1970) and M.Sc. degree in Highways Engineering and Construction Management from the University of Birmingham, UK (1979). He founded in 1976, INTECON PARTNERSHIP, which today is one of the leading Engineering Consultancy Firms in Nigeria. He is also the Chairman of Board of the following companies; Interworks Engineering Ltd, a construction firm and Automated Geotechnics Ltd, a specialist Geotechnical & Foundation Engineering Firm. He is currently representing COREN as a Member of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development & Monitoring Board NCDMB, a Member of Engineering and Environment Committee of the World Federation of Engineering Organisations WFEO and Co-chair of Infrastructure Policy Commission (IPC) of the Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG). Engr. Olumuyiwa A. Ajibola holds a Chieftaincy title of Agbaakin of Ile Ife (The Source). An astute and committed family man, he is also author of several Technical papers. He is well respected and acknowledged for his strong views and efforts, towards according Engineering and its practitioners in Nigeria, the space to drive national development & growth.

Engr. Tele Renner Ikuru, FNSE
Born on Thursday, February 24, 1966, in Port Harcourt, Engr. Telenyem Renner Ikuru, FNSE, Deputy Governor, Rivers State, had a brilliant educational career which saw him shine through primary and secondary schools, and the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, where he bagged a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1992.
His professional career started as Principal Technical Assistant during the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), at Nigeria’s biggest hydro-electric power plant, the Shiroro Hydroelectric Power Station in Niger State. On return from youth service, Engr. Ikuru had stints with an investment company, (Bariod Investment Limited), in the construction industry with (Unipad Nigeria Limited, and Simag Construction and Trading Company), in teaching with (Kenneth Commercial School, and Allenco Comprehensive Secondary School), and in the banking sector with (Logos Community Bank), all in Port Harcourt, before joining one of the biggest player in the global oil industry, Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC), Western Division, Warri, Delta State, 1996-1999, as Oil/Chemical Spill Clean-Up Supervisor.
He was appointed member Rivers State Executive Council/Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, 1999 - 2003, and from 2004 – 2006 was moved to Housing and Urban Development as pioneer Commissioner. In 2007 Engr. Ikuru was elected and sworn in as Deputy Governor of Rivers State and in 2011 was re-elected into the same office alongside his boss, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, which position he is still serving.
His achievements while occupying these positions are eloquent testimonies of his dedication and determination to excel in whatever he does, consequently qualifying him for several awards and recognitions, including Fellow, Institute of Corporate Executives of Nigeria (FICEN); Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Mechanical Engineers (FNIMechE); Fellow, Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE); Member, Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN); and Member, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
Engr. Ikuru, a Christian, is happily married to Her Excellency, Dr Mina Ikuru, and the union is blessed with four lovely children.

Mr. Arima Victor Ikechukwu, President NAEC.
Arima Victor Ikechukwu, born on 22 Sept 1950. Education: Primary and Vocational/Technical School, Study Electrical Installation Works.
Working Experience: Employed in Aviation Industry under FAAN, for 26yrs. Retired in 2006. Join The Nigerian Association of Engineering Craftmen as Kano State Chairman from 2003 to 2010, now (FNAEC) also COREN Registered. Presently the National Chairman of NAEC.
Married with three Children.

Chief Leo Okereke, FNATE, President NATE.
Chief Leo was born on 21st January 1945. He started his Primary education at the famous Christ The King School (CKC) Aba 1951-1959 where he obtained the first school leaving certificate. He proceeded to the re-known Ahiara Technical College (ATC) because of his flair to consult and design. He obtained the Inter and Final City and Guilds Certificate in 1965. His quest for further studies took him to the City and Guilds of London Institute where he passed the full TECH Certificate in 1966. Chief Okereke continued his exploits by enrolling in the council of Engineering Institute (CEI) of London where he chartered as a full Technological Engineer (T.Eng) between 1976-1978. Chief Leo once again returned to the University of Science and Technology (RSUST) Nkpolu Port-Harcourt in Rivers State where he graduated with B.Sc degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering 1999-2004. His research thrust in Engineering and Technology took him to Imo State University Owerri where he obtained Masters Degree in Construction Management Technology 2008-2010. He is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Leonado Engineering Nigeria Sokoto and Power Poles Industry Naze, Owerri. He is an official member of several professional bodies including; Council Member- Council For The Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), President- Nigeria Association Of Technologists in Engineering (NATE), Institute of Engineers and Technicians (MIET) London, Association of Supervisory and Executive Engineers London (MASEE), National Inspector Engineering Regulation and Monitoring (ERM), member- Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE).

Engr. Prof. Olajide John Oluranti, MNSE
Engr.Prof. John Oluranti Olajide attended Lagelu Grammer School, Ibadan and obtained his WASC in 1981. He had his academic training at the Universities of Ife (Now Obafemi awolowo University) and Ibadan in Nigeria and Post doctoral training at Procter Department of Food Science, University of Leeds, Leeds, United Kingdom. He is a member of different Professional bodies including: Nigeria Institution of Agricultural Engineers (MNIAE) Nigeria Society of Engineers (MNSE) American Society of Agricultural & Biological Engineers (MASABE) Nigerian Institute of Food Science & Technology (MNIFST) International Solar Society (MISS) Registered Engineer, Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN He is currently the Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomoso. He has to his credit many research Publications in reputable Journals. He was Ordained a deacon in the Redeemed Christian Church of God in 1998 and currently serving as a Pulpit Minister at RCCG Jesus House Parish, Isale General, Ogbomoso. He is Married with Children.

Engr. Prof. John Adesiji Olorunmaiye, MNSE
Engr. Prof. John Adesiji Olorunmaiye, Past Chairman of Deans of Engineering & Technology in Nigerian Universities (CODET), was born on 5th December, 1957 at Aiyesunle-Gbede, Ijumu LGA of Kogi State. He obtained a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Ibadan in 1979 and Ph.D. degree from The University of Calgary, Calgary, Canada in 1985. He was promoted to the rank of Professor of Mechanical Engineering at University of Illorin with effect from October 1997. He has attended several international workshops on Engineering Education and had industrial experiences at Kaduna state Water Board, Katsina district and UNECON Associates Limited (Consulting Engineers), Ilupeju, Lagos. He is presently the Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Ilorin. He is married to Adetoun Omolara and the marriage is blessed with a son.

Bolu James Ajibolu, President NISET
Bolu James Ajibolu, Tech FNISET was born in Lampese, Akoko–Edo, Edo State. He had his Primary Education in Saint Peter’s LSMB School, Ogori in Ogori/Mangongo,Kogi State. He attended Government Technical College, Patigi in Kwara State between 1978–1983 where he obtained grades in 3 and 2 of the Federal Trade Test (FTT), Federal Craft Certificate (FCC) and part I & II of the WAEC Technical Certificate in Fabrication Engineering Craft Practice. He was the Deputy Head boy in his final year. He joined the Pioneer Integrated Paper Industry in West Africa Sub–region (NPM Ltd, Jebba) Kwara State as Craftsman/Technician in the core Mechanical Maintainance Department between 1984–2001. He served in various management committees as shop floor / National Vice-President of the National Union of Printing Paper and Papers Products Workers (NUPPPPROW). Between 1999 – 2001, he attended Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin for Advanced Certificate in Motor Vechicle Repairs. Between 2003–2005; he developed himself further at the Polytechnic, Ibadan, for Higher Technician Diploma (HTD) in Mechanical Engineering, HND (in view) The Ploytechnic, Ibadan. He registered with NISET as a corporate member in 2005 and served as the first, Administrative Officer of NISET. He became a fellow of NISET in 2007, was elected as the 3rd National Secretary of NISET in 2009. He emerged as the 3rd National President of NISET on 25th May, 2012; He now represents NISET as a Council member with COREN.

Engr. Emmanuel Ewa, MNSE
Engr. Emmanuel Ewa was born on 2nd July, 1950 at Afikpo in Ebonyi State. He attended Demonstration School Afikpo, Izzi country Secondary School Abakaliki and I.M.T. Enugu where I obtained ordinary Technician Diploma in Civil/building Engineering. He worked with Guffanti Nig. Ltd before proceeding to Bulgaria to study Civil Engineering majoring in Highways with M.Sc(Highways) at the Higher institute for Architecture and Civil Engineering Sofia, Bulgaria. He underwent a Railway course in Walton-Lahore, Pakistan and worked with the Nigeria Railway Corporation. He is now a lecturer with Akanu Ibiam Federal polytechnic Unwana where he served as Head of Civil engineering as well as dean of School of Engineering. He is a Corporate Member of NSE and is Married with Children.

Engr. Wopa Kamila Maliki, FNSE, mni- Registrar and Secretary of Council.
Engr. Maliki Wopa Kamila is the Registrar of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria.
Until this present appointment, he was the Director, Water Resources Engineering Service, Ministry of Water Resources, Kwara State and in charge of the Kwara State Water Turn-Around Programme.
He has over the years acquired experience in various aspects of engineering project supervision, construction and procurement services, in the civil service of the Kwara State. He served as a member of several project team in the State, such as KWHA Complex, Kwara State Library, Secretariat Phase II & III etc projects . He was directly in charge of Mechanical Engineering Service design and supervision of several capital projects in the State. In 2003, as a mark of recognition of his astute qualities as an engineer and administrator, Engr. Kamila was appointed the General Manager of the Kwara State Water Corporation
Engr. Kamila became a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) in 1997 and, in the same year, registered as a Mechanical Engineer with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He has served the NSE as a member of the ILORIN branch Executive Committee in various capacities culminating to the position of Chairman in 2006. He was a member of the COREN ERM Committee in Ilorin Zone, where he also served as the COREN Supervising Engineer from 2002-2013.
Engr. Kamila attended the Government Secondary School, Malete between January 1973 and June 1977. He also studied at Kwara State College of Technology, Ilorin and acquired the Higher National Diploma. With the zeal to further his education, he proceeded to the then Anambra State University of Science and Technology, Enugu where he bagged the Post Graduate Diploma and Master in Engineering in 1988 and 1990 respectively. Engr. Kamila took time off his busy schedule to study for a Master in Public Administration certificate of the University of Ilorin in 2003.
He was nominated to attend the Senior Executive Course 28 of the prestigious National institute of Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru-Jos in 2006 and thus became a member of the national institute (mni). He was also conferred with the fellowship award of NSE in November 2010.
Engr. Kamila, a professional engineer and seasoned administrator is married with children.
